PRIVACY
Cookie policy
Last updated 19 October 2026
This policy explains how Colonial Realty Ltd. uses cookies and similar browser storage on this website, and how you can control them. Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar storage, such as local storage, keeps information on your device in the same way.

These are needed for the website to work and cannot be switched off. They do not identify you for advertising.

Visit counts without cookies
We count how many times each page is opened and the general source of the visit (for example a search engine, social media or another website). This uses no cookies and stores no IP address, browser details or anything else that could identify you, only daily totals. Counts are kept for 25 months.
Preferences
Used only if you allow Preferences.
| Name | Type and provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| cr-property-searches-v1 | Local storage, this website | Remembers up to five of your recent property searches so you can repeat them. You can also clear them in the search panel. | Up to 30 days |
Maps
When you open the map in property search or scroll to a property’s Location map, the map is loaded from Mapbox. Mapbox receives your IP address and may store a small identifier in your browser’s local storage to count map loads.
| Name | Type and provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mapbox map | Mapbox | Shows property locations on a map. Most locations are approximate. | Set by Mapbox |
Video players
Some property pages include YouTube video tours. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player opens and YouTube may store information on your device under its own policy.
| Name | Type and provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) | Google / YouTube | Plays a video tour you chose to start. | Set by YouTube |
Analytics
With your permission (Analytics in Cookie settings) we use Google Analytics to count visits, pages viewed and enquiries, so we can see what helps visitors. Google receives your browser’s technical details and a shortened address; we do not send your name or contact details. Nothing runs until you agree, and withdrawing your choice stops it on your next page.
| Name | Type and provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart and counts them. | Up to 2 years |
Marketing
We do not currently use marketing cookies. If we add them, they will run only after you agree, and they will be listed here first.
Changing your choices
Use Cookie settings at any time. Withdrawing Preferences deletes your saved searches from this device. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the website will then ask for your choices again.
Other websites
Links to WhatsApp, social networks and other websites are governed by those services’ own cookie policies.
